Access Employee Transactions
View a list of all Payroll checks issued to an employee, the earnings and deductions taken for each.
- Select to view the check stub of the selected transaction.
- Select to record an additional Employer 401k contribution for the selected transaction. Enter the contribution amount which is added to the Employer Contribution subtotal amount. This does not affect the Employees contribution and no GL entry is recorded.
- Select to have the emailed check stub re-sent.
Check # provides the payroll check number.
The Date column displays the date of the check.
Use Pay Period to view the date the Pay Period ended.
Transaction Tracking Reference, TTR, for the Payroll check.
Amount of Gross earnings for the Pay Period.
Total Deductions, such as medical insurance, taken on the check.
Total amount of Taxes deducted from earnings.
The Net amount of the check, the Gross column minus Deductions and Taxes.
Date the Check Cleared the bank.
The Date and Time the pay stub was Emailed to the Employee.
As each Check is selected, information regarding the taxes withheld and 401k deductions is displayed.
Earnings
View detail on an employees earnings.
Select a Sort By option using the drop down menu to sort Earnings
- Date Paid + Earning Code
- Date Paid + Transaction Date
- Earning Code + Date Paid- select this option and the Earning Code Search field becomes active.
The Date the Pay Period ended.
The Earning Code assigned to the Employee.
TTR displays the transaction Tracking Reference for the transaction.
Check # indicates the Check number of the payroll check.
View the Financial Period the check was written.
The General Ledger Account for the transaction.
User ID of who entered the transaction.
Displays the number of Hours the employee was paid.
Rate of pay used to calculate earnings.
Amount of earnings for the selected transaction.
At the bottom of the Earnings grid, the following information appears for the selected transaction.
The Paid On date confirms the date of the check.
The Reduce Salary field indicates Yes or No. Reduce Salary typically reflects when salaried employees have Paid Time Off recorded using an specific earning code for PTO.
Earning is the description associated with the Earning Code.
Edit an Earnings Transaction
Earning Transactions can be edited to correct an Earning Code, Hours or Labor rate.
Deductions
View the deductions taken for each Payroll check.
Select a Sort By option using the drop down menu to sort Deductions
- Date Paid + Deduction Code
- Deduction Code + Date Paid
- TTR
Date Paid indicates the date of the check.
Code displays the deduction code used.
Deduction Name is the name of the Deduction.
TTR is the Transaction Tracking Reference for the Payroll check
Check # the check number.
Displays the Period the check was written.
Account indicates the General Ledger account for the selected Deduction.
Amount of the deduction.
